Common faults of
gas generator sets include difficulty in starting, insufficient power, overheating, abnormal fuel consumption, etc. These faults may be caused by a variety of reasons, such as insufficient battery power, fuel supply system problems, ignition system failures, etc.
1. Difficulty in starting: This may be caused by insufficient or aging batteries, fuel supply system failures (such as fuel pump failure, filter blockage), ignition system problems (such as ignition coil, spark plug damage), etc. Solutions include checking battery power, cleaning or replacing filters, and checking and replacing damaged ignition system components.
2. Insufficient power: Insufficient power of gas generator sets may be caused by insufficient gas supply, internal engine failures (such as improper valve clearance, cylinder wear), or poor intake system. Solutions include checking the gas supply system and repairing internal engine failures.
3. Overheating: Engine overheating is caused by cooling system failures, fin blockage, or insufficient coolant. Solutions include regular inspection and maintenance of the cooling system to ensure normal coolant flow and avoid long-term high-load operation.
4. Abnormal fuel consumption: This may be caused by a fault in the fuel supply system, an internal engine fault, or improper operation. Solutions include checking and repairing the fuel supply system, cleaning carbon deposits, or performing other necessary repairs.
5. Exhaust pipe temperature is too high: This may be due to a blockage in the exhaust pipe or a problem in the exhaust system. Solutions include cleaning the exhaust pipe and system, and checking and replacing faulty parts.
6. High-pressure oil pump failure: Usually due to leakage or failure of the high-pressure oil pump. The solution is to replace or repair the high-pressure oil pump and readjust its pressure.
7. Slide wheel wear: Due to the long use of the slide wheel or poor quality. The solution is to replace a new slide wheel and maintain it regularly.
Preventive and maintenance measures include regular checks on battery power, fuel supply system, and cooling system to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. In addition, regular maintenance and servicing of equipment and timely replacement of aging and damaged parts can better reduce the frequency of failures.
